About Misha Noonan, Advanced Certified Rolfer
As a result of work related personal injuries, Misha became interested
in what causes injury to muscle tissues and the best methods for alleviating pain.
What initially started with an interest in massage therapy eventually evolved to the study
of rolfing, which is the manipulation of the body's connective tissue to align and rebalance
the body. Misha has been an advanced certified Rolfer for 11 years and has been at
his current Woodinville office location for about 5 years.
Misha's specialty is in resolving whiplash and trauma type injuries. Through
the skillfull use of his fingers, hands and elbows, Misha is able to work through the deep
layers of connective tissue to relieve the pain resulting from these sorts of injuries.
Another specialty area is the treatment of scholiosis. Some of the characteristics
of this condition are different shoulder heights, the leaning tendency of the body to one
side, or the head not being centered above the pelvis. What is characteristic of
scoliosis is the side-to-side curvature of the spine. The use of visceral
manipulation through cranial work and spinal restructuring has caused significant
improvements in one's overall body structure and posture.
